William E. Reimer
Sustaining Nursing Excellence at Paoli
Through the years, Paoli Hospital has benefited tremendously from endowment funds established by donors who wish to create a lasting means of support to the Hospital.
William E. Reimer and his daughter, Kelly Vucelich, recently established such an endowment fund at Paoli Hospital in memory of Myra D. Reimer, mother to Kelly and wife to William. Mrs. Reimer passed away on July 12, 2012 at Paoli. Bill commented that "she always wanted to do something for the hospital." In gratitude for the care received by Paoli and after talking with Doug Hughes, Director of Nursing, the family decided to provide an enduring source of income for nursing education. Funds designated for nursing education provide wonderful opportunities for professional growth and development, ensuring that the Hospital continues to meet and exceed standards for nursing care.
Mr. Reimer also acknowledged that the Myra D. Reimer Memorial Fund for Excellence in Nursing is a beneficiary of his retirement account, further supporting this wonderful legacy in memory of Myra. We are enormously grateful to Bill and Kelly for their generosity - their gift will be reflected many times over in the skilled, compassionate nursing care that is a hallmark of Paoli Hospital.
