Steve and Lauri Aylward
Volunteers Preserve Paoli Hospital's Excellence for Future Generations
For nearly 20 years, Paoli Hospital has been an important part of the Aylward family's lives. The Aylwards have donated their time as volunteers - Steve as a Trustee on the Foundation Board, Lauri in the Breast Center, and their daughters in patient transport. Each year the Aylwards make a charitable gift to the hospital in memory of Lauri's mother, Mary Lou Lanphear, who spent her career as a Paoli Hospital registered nurse and Director of Operational Health. The Aylward family believes Paoli Hospital is a local treasure and that the hospital is a key factor in making Chester County one of the greatest places to live in Pennsylvania. Considering what the hospital means to them, they decided to strengthen their family's legacy by including Paoli Hospital as a beneficiary of their long-term financial plans. A planned gift is an easy way to give back so that Paoli Hospital can continue to deliver the high-quality medical care that the community has come to expect.
Having an outstanding medical facility in the community gives the Aylward family peace of mind.
